I'm Ire of The Shire! Welcome to my site!

My username, IreShire, comes from the Lord Of The Rings.

The Hobbits return home from their journey to find the Shire changed. Industrialised. Full of spies and unsavory types that go against the agrarian, aristocratic, lifestyle that had defined the Shire previously.

This is of course due to the dreadful Saruman.

A so-called Ire Of The Shire.

Mainly it's because it rhymes and shows that I am a LOTR nerd.

I may not be a webmaster but I do enjoy the indie web.

I mainly write, imaginate, illustrate, and play TTRPG games.

This website might eventually have a bookshelf for my book recomendations, but I currently plan to keep it for my rules-light storytelling game, Venture.
